i am fumigating/bombing/spraying my house to get rid of roaches and i’m afraid that the chemicals may be harmful to my dogs. They told me that i could let my dogs back in after 4 hours or so.. but i’m a little skeptical. the chemicals are going to be all over my furniture and carpet so i’m pretty sure my dogs will ingest them some way or another. i have a baby french bulldog and he always licks everything he can get his mouth on. i was thinking that i might leave the house for a week with my dogs.. but i don’t know if the chemicals would be gone by then..
also, i am a very clean person. i throw away my trash everyday, never leave food out, vacuum everyday. but somehow i keep getting roaches.
please help.
My kittens must stay outside because we are trying to sell our house and my parents won’t let them stay in. Is there something I can buy that is cheap, or something I can do at home, to allow the mother cat to get out and come in, but keep the kittens from leaving? And also keep out wild animals and dogs from around the neighborhood? I have to keep them close to the woods for shade (way too hot and they start panting if they are anywhere else, We don’t have a lot of shade) I can’t stop worrying about them. Please help!

I have to keep them close to the woods for shade (way too hot and they start panting if they are anywhere else, We don’t have a lot of shade) I have a shelter for them (An animal crate with a pillow, and a door that the mother cat can push open and I put a bungee cord on it that allows the door to slowly close a little [but still is open a crack] and a tarp is over it for weather, and it is raised up on two cinder blocks (so ants cant get um) but I still feel like they are not safe..) I live in a small manufactured home, all carpet, no basement or garage, or shed. I just need to make a livin place for them. I can’t stop worrying about them. Please help!
I am so tired of renting…I want to own something. I want to paint and change the color of the carpet. I want a NICE kitchen. I dont want to have to ask permission to change any of these things!
I have been looking around at houses. I have not spoken with a Real Estate agent yet or mortgage lender. I have tried doing some research online about NJ first time home buyers…but what are some good tips I should know? Also, what are somethings to know that a Real Estate Agent or mortgage lender might "leave out"?
Thanks!
I would like to move to Pa…however there are reasons I must stay in NJ (step child and work) so moving out of NJ is not an option!
Plus if I had it my way, I would just move south…everything is cheaper down there!
I am in the market for a house. Something not too expensive and preferably rent to own.
I recently came across a house that really is a true 100% fixer upper.
Needs new windows, carpet, plumbing work, paint job, and possibly roofing.
Now my question, is buying a home such as this one (with the potential to be something amazing) really worth the extra out of pocket expense just to make the house livable and then the extra money to make it pretty?
