Justin,
How is the kid? I hope she is doing well. I like to read the questions before I answer them. It lets me know if the question is sincere.
I believe yours is.
I live in a small city between Sacramento and San Francisco CA. The people in this city are for the most part civil. Our neighbors look out for each other and I often take off for an afternoon and do not lock the front door. I was out for over 8 hours today and we left the house completely open. The doors were shut but you need only turn the handle and walk in. I admit I should not do this but I know my neighbors will know if a stranger walks into the subdivision and will make a phone call.
I do not hunt.
I have no need for a weapon and do not own one.
If I had to deal with crocks or snakes (four legged/no legs or two), I would own one.
No, I do not carry a gun at home and I definitely wont be getting one anytime soon. I feel safe and sound just where I am. Just be nice to those around you.
no I dont but have thought about it but I would not have the courage to shoot or kill anyone even if it meant my life
as a British citizen i feel safe with zero weapons
well yes,for sure..I am very safe in my home,on my property and in my country..I have many guns,at home,in my safe and elsewhere within reach as I see fit…
"Yay, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for I am the baddest motherfucker in the valley."
I feel very safe. I do keep a gun at home for no other reason than because I am free to do so. If it were legal to smoke pot, I’d have a pipe and a dime bag. I enjoy whatever rights I’m allowed to the fullest.
Yes, several guns and Yes. I would fight to the death to protect my family and I am a Grandmother. I lived in Central America for 5 years and I was never safe there like I am in the USA. I also was not allowed to carry a gun there since the country I was in does not believe in guns. Going out after dark was out of the question.
It is beautiful here and life is easy compared to a third world country but that does not mean we will not protect our lives if we are challenged. I am always alert and ready to avert trouble with whatever means possible.
I keep a 9mm in my night stand next to my bed. How safe I feel depends on what neighborhood we are currently living in. My wife and I are in the Army and we move from time to time. I have never felt the need to carry it with me anywhere, but I like knowing I have it at home.
I have several weapons in my home-I’m a target shooter and former hunter. The guns don’t make me feel safer. I feel generally safe in my home, but there are many parts of my city that I don’t feel safe in.
As of now I do not own a gun in my home. Do I feel safe..oh course. Look at the statistics for a second in 2004, the last time I read the crime statics, there were about 1400 murders in the US. Saying there were over 243 million people your odds of being murdered were a little over a hundredth of a percent. Pretty low or about a much of a chance of getting struck by lighting. It does not hurt to learn how to protect yourself but most people buy a gun and then have no idea how to use it and they end up hurt worse.
I am safer here than in any other country. The .357 mag, 30.06 and 12ga are loaded, so keep your bears and tigers out of my yard.
I have several rifles, shotgun, and two pistols. I rarely hunt any more. As far as safe in my home, very. I live in a small US town where everyone knows one another. Crime rate is nill.
all the gun in the US home and military could not stop the 9/11 attacks do you feel save NOW
Yes, I have guns at home, and carry when I’m out. And I feel reasonably safe where ever I go. It’s better to have deadly force at your dispatch, and never need it, than need it, and not have it available. But then I’m not a victim, and have no intent to be one. How about you?
Safety is a perception I own several weapons and they dont make me feel any safer that if i did not own them. The fact I have a constitionaly recognized right to do so makes me feel very safe and proud. 911 happened cause no average person are allowed to carry firearms on aircraft. The terrorists took advantadge of our weakness in allowing just that amount of gun control to expouse our citizens to dangers of the world. Just like the school shootings where you don’t allow the law abiding to carry weapons only the crooks will have them. Yes I feel very safe to living in America why would I not?
