I just moved 2 a small town with my fiance. We are from California & have horrible credit due 2 his ex and my ex. I have bad health but we need some security. I have terminal brain cancer & I need a stress free life as much as i can. We were offered a house for 350$ a month for 19 yrs at which time we will then own it. Our credit is so shot & our income so little that we know this is our one & only chance 2 own a home. Its in horrible shape. We have 2 fix everything infact the kitchen alone has 2b totally gutted out. It has so much potential & im scared of losing it. We dont mind putting our time & what little money we have into fixing this house. but we dont know if we really should or not. I heard that there are places that help u with loans even w/ bad credit. is that true? & how long would we have 2 wait before we can get a loan on the house to fix it? for 13 months we will rent it b4 signing papers but so much has 2 b done before its livable & we dont want to get screwed plz help

I want to buy a corn snake (a young one, obviously), but the only pet store in my area that sells them is about a 40 minute drive away. I can’t find any breeders anywhere NEAR my home, and the local pet store doesn’t carry snakes on a regular basis, they have to be ordered and I wanna see the snake before I buy it. I’m worried about taking a snake on a 40 minute drive, especially in the winter. How do I keep my new snake safe and comfortable until I get in home?

I want to buy a house in the next few years & give my daughter a good life & afford to put her through college. BUT right now my credit is bad & my b/f’s (her dad) is terrible! We recently pulled his credit report & found that he has over 10 delinquent/derogatory accounts & has NEVER had an account in good standing & has never paid on anything, ever! He has never paid anything as promised, every account he’s ever had he let go to collection & never made any attempt to pay on it. This includes cell phone plans, child supt., car ins, & more. He also has a judgement against him. ALL of this was like this BEFORE we ever met, so I am very upset. My credit isnt that bad – I only have 2 accounts in collection & could easily pay them off within the next year & really fix up my credit. This is causing huge fights between us. He tells me that it is all MY fault that he cant pay his bills because I take all of his money! This is really hurtful to me because I am the one who makes sure our bills get paid – if it were up to him he wouldnt pay them, not on time anyway. I make sure EVERYTHING is paid – rent, util., cell, daycare, etc. He thinks I am just TAKING his money! He doesnt understand that after the bills are paid, there are groceries to get, gas, diapers, etc. How can I make him understand!?! After buying a house on the lake. I noticed after living there for three months that the lake was going down. I saw someone on the dam and questioned them. I was told that it was their property and the lake was being drained. I went to public records and found that the property had a covenant that allowed a perpetual easement with all of the communities property. After doing more digging I found out the county gov’t contacted the family that owned the property before we were a community (which was before 1933. so these people were grandkids) and told them they could quit-claim the property if they wanted to and say it was from the grandfathers estate. (It never was in the estate I pulled the records.) So now we have a drained lake-mudhole that has weeds growing in it. HELP ANYONE. (mind you the grandkids are developers and home builders and they were planning to build over 200 homes on a lake bed)

im living in the home now i have already put down 5500.00 on the down payment .. If i cant find financing for the house i lose that money even tho its not in the contract….But the house needs some repairs done to it and he has not fix them which was in the contract…my credit score is about a 480 so thats low..Please if you can help direct me where to go … I keep getting well we need a credit score of atleast 550 or better.. I dont know what to do.. im at my last resort asking here..i have to close on the house by the end of this year but i do want him to fix what needs to be fix..Example the bathroom septic needs to be on city line and the pump never worked on the septic.. Experts say the war will now cost us "the tax payers" in America 2.4 Trillion dollars. Not to mention the loss of dads,brothers,sisters,moms,aunts,uncles,grandparents,friends I know people whom have lost their family members doing all they could to keep us safe. I also know people whom have lost their homes doing all they could to keep them. Can anyone tell me why our goverment will spend 2.4 trillion dollars in Iraq, but won’t give a hard working family 00.00 so they can keep their home? Does anyone else see a problem with this?

I guess their were only 2 f—er’s and 1 Fannie. I think this a huge bias when a senator 20 years was exonerated from any wrong doing with wall to wall coverage and, the Goulp who ran the finance commitee can not even get a news clip.

I was told by a real estate agent that banks do not want to accept bids for properties from people who have FHA loans because they are "too picky". We just thought we could purchase a fixer upper to save money. So does this mean we wont be able to purchase a house that needs some repairs?

we have tried to see if we could fix our credit but we are on fixed incomes (his diablitiy,mine child support) neither one of us can work ( i stay home and take care of the boyfriend and grandson). we are raising our 4 year old grandson. we want to buy the house were in but all our money goes into paying the rent (1 st and 2 nd mortgages-landlords) so we can’t even pay extra out for anything, we barley have enough for the bills. We just need an honest person who would be willing enough to help us out.

If so would you ever buy a house from someone to use as a rental and then let them rent it for a couple of months while they have a house built? Has anyone ever heard of someone doing this?
