Their campaign is to keep the departing CEOs of the failed organizations Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac from taking $$$$$$$$ with them. After these CEOs led the organizations to failure, do they deserve suitcases full of money as they depart? These students of an Advanced Placement government class at Miami High School in Oklahoma are trying to make a difference.

I have one female cat who is very hyper. She is small.. a kitten.. last night I decided to get another cat to keep her company. A friend had a cat who recently (within 3-4 months) had kittens. The cats were living in a barn. I brought home a cute little boy… Now that I have the cat home, he will not come to me (he runs and hides) and my cat is dying to play with her new friend. I’ve tried food, petting it (when I can catch it) etc.. how do I get this cat to understand he is in a safe place? I am really wanting to pet it and show it the ropes, (food placement, litter box, etc)… but I can’t get it to come out long enough to show it everything is o.k. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I am required to sine a contract from Fannie Mae to pay their closing, what does this mean and how much could this be. I chose to finance usuing the USDA rural development loan program and am not sure if I can finance these costs into my loan. Is this a bad deal?

I am desperetly wanting to buy a house instead of renting again. I need a much bigger house than the rental home we’re currently in. I would like to start the process to purchase in about 2 weeks. The houses that I’ve found that are decent are too high , I know I wouldn’t get qualified for that amount. I always hear about 1st time homebuyers programs, yet I’ve not comes across any online info. I really want to move to Indianapolis area,way more affordable. Any help anyone can give me?

I would like to do consumer-level computer training out of the large basement of my suburban home. I would also do onsite training. I would teach backups, file management, using malware-removal programs, MS Office, home networking, keeping kids safe online, basic hardware upgrades/repairs, using digital cameras/scanners/image editing, using the Internet better, etc. I have several years of experience teaching these things in a career college. I’ve found the career colleges to be a rip-off for students. I’m absolutely positive I could provide great training, I’m just concerned about the viability of this as a business.

Recently, I was thinking to buy a townhome and then rent to someone because I can take the money to pay for mortgage. However, I know a landlord has a lot of responsibilities to renters. I may face a lot of problems if the I have a bad renter. Is there any service that can manage my case and I just pay them monthly fee? For example, they can help for legal issues, repair tasks and so on. Or I have to find a lawyer to protect my right and find someone to help maintain the house? Or actually to be a landlord is a bad idea.
I heard some cases about bad renters. One was the renter didn’t pay so the landlord offered 3 months free and asked the guy to leave. Another case was similar, but the landlord sued the renter. If the renter doesn’t pay, why landlord cannot just find a police force them to leave?

I blame the cause of the economic crisis on Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. This is the true cause of the banks closing. In a debate i would like to know as much as possible about this before pointing fingers. I looked up on google and found a few things; however, I would like to know more. Thanks for any help.

I had a bad credit history before and I am only 23. It was basically from medical bills, a phone bill and an old landlord that was unfair and sued me… i recently bought a car and it is in my moms name with me as a cosigner and i got a secured credit card last month. I want to be able to buy a house next year and need to know good ays to rebuild my vredit, I am going to start paying the bills i owe from the past to get them cleared up a little bit and see what i can do to clean up my credit report. I need tips and ideas. I live in california and the property out here goes up and down and i am hearing rumors of the prices dropping again by next year and want to buy for cheap so I am hoping to get a good credit score within a year, is this possible? I will do anything… Im desperate and now that im older i see what the effects of my decisions are and want to fix it… any kind of advice is appreciated.. thanks

would it be better to re-write all these bad loans that are being foreclosed on to something that the people can handle so that they can keep the homes and keep paying on them – even if they, according to their credit, do not deserve the loan. At least making it affordable to pay it. And then assigning it to a bank or Mortgage company to take it over on the new terms?
